Since last week Amazon has slightly reduced its Prime Now chilled and frozen range from 202 (130 Chilled, 72 Frozen) to 198 (127 Chilled, 71 Frozen).
Amazon is now sole or joint cheapest on 143 of 198 products (72.2 percent) slightly down from 72.8 percent last week.
Amazon changed the price of 45 products, the greatest number of price changes made so far.
27 of these changes were price increases and 18 were price decreases.
The number of price increases means that Amazon has reduced the average difference in pricing compared to the retailers (Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Ocado, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s).

Morrisons is currently the closest to Amazon in terms of pricing, having lost its place as second cheapest retailer to Asda for the previous two weeks. The retailer is now 11.8 percent more expensive than Amazon down from 17.9 last week.
Morrisons made 11 price changes from last week, 9 of which were price decreases.
Asda is just behind Morrisons at 12.2 percent more expensive than Amazon and Sainsbury’s slip from second to third. Tesco, Ocado and Waitrose remain fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
14 products were unavailable this week, the greatest number of delistings since the 5 November update.
The Ginsters Original Cornish Pasty 227g, Lurpak Spreadable Slightly Salted Tub 500g and Muller Rice Original 180g, all unavailable last week, returned this week.
However, this week the Ginsters Ploughmans Roll 130g (only added last week) and Muller Light Banana and Custard 175g were now unavailable. Products from Benecol, Mattessons and Quorn were also unavailable this week.
The Birds Eye Crispy Chicken Dippers 220g and Wall’s Cornetto Strawberry 4x90ml are once again available to order having been unavailable since 5 November.
